Building a 1500 Gallon plywood & glass tank

Any idea how that might have happened, one of your background rocks getting knocked around maybe?

I think it was caused by a slight flex I had in the sides.

I think I should have braced the tank from left to right as well to cover that big of a span.

Very nice job on the build. Love all the fish you decided upon, looked like they were all happy...even the turtle ! I just have a couple questions if u dont mind, why did you have to put your house up for sale and what is that giant eel called that you had in the tank and was beating up all the other fish? The eel looked sweet....

Eel was a fire eel.

And selling because we just moved and got a better house. Good time to buy if you can.

Deffinatly inspiring me to build one, I just think I would like to build an outdoor one. It would be nice ot enjoy watching the fish while we sit out on the back patio.

outstanding tank! i am researching for my first plywood build. i had planned on going saltwater, until i saw this... now...? lol very niiiiice!
