This tank has been up and running since 1997. The big tank has been up since 1994.

This pic in the 15K was taken in 2011. The fish was on a hunger strike and was on its way out. The fish was obtained in 1998 at 9". It was always a picky eater and only got to be 17 to 18". It has died since the pic was taken.

This is one of 4 Schizodon fasciatus I bought in 1999 from Oliver Lucanus and Sean Lew at Biotope Imports. They were 3" long and cost $4.00 each.
Two have passed on and the last 2 measure approx 13" and 14". This is the slimmer of the 2 left. I have never seen them in any store I visit before or since 1999. This pic was taken by my son in 2011.
