Here is that fish swimming in the tank. The photo was taken about 15 feet from the front of the tank and he is swimming almost 9 feet deep. Sorry the pic isn't the greatest but it gives you an idea of what the fish looks like.

Amazing and awe-inspiring. Very impesive and many other things as well.

You mentioned a hundred or so pages ago that you were into motorcycle racing...i wonder if there is a link between the two hobbies as i too race motorcycles (club type suff) and realy enjoy the fishkeeping hobby just not to the level that you do. The funny thing is that i was drug into the hobby by a good friend of mine who i also club race with.

Once again your setup is truly amazing...just dont think i could get away with something that large unless i fed the miss to the fish...haha!

Was his snout always so blunt like that? I had one for about a year until my biggest fish decided he didn't need a tail. Can't wait to own another one once my 4000 is complete. You have any more now?

I got him from Aquarium Services with the damaged mouth when he was young. He must have damaged it swimming into the end of a tank.

Yes I still have planiceps.

The smallest is about 32". He is a swimmer so when he is in the top 5 feet of the tank I will try and get you a picture.

Yes I love motorcycles and that is how I was injured. I rode production mc.
 
Arapaimag, someone mentioned you had a wels in the tank before, is this true and if so how big is it and do you still have a wels? Any pics?
