A Sorubimichthys planiceps.
Here is that fish swimming in the tank. The photo was taken about 15 feet from the front of the tank and he is swimming almost 9 feet deep. Sorry the pic isn't the greatest but it gives you an idea of what the fish looks like.
Was his snout always so blunt like that? I had one for about a year until my biggest fish decided he didn't need a tail. Can't wait to own another one once my 4000 is complete. You have any more now?

I got him from Aquarium Services with the damaged mouth when he was young. He must have damaged it swimming into the end of a tank.
Yes I still have planiceps.
The smallest is about 32". He is a swimmer so when he is in the top 5 feet of the tank I will try and get you a picture.
