You need to get some fish man.. Stop messing around with these dinky little tanks and start playing with the big boys :D

Welcome to MFK.:WHOA: Glad you are moving up from guppies and dwarf cichlids to fish you can actually eat.

How is your 1500 doing?:headbang2

Ha ha! Maybe you could tell me?

She also wants to know how the puppies are doing :)

I think she likes you more than me... I'll arm wrestle ya for her LOL Just kidding!

When things go bad I tell you.

Well one of my Colossoma brachypomum passed away today. I had him for 14 years and he was given to me by a hobbyist who had owned him for 10 years.
I at first was told by my daughter that it was my female C brachypomum
but it was a male. He was very unusual because he did not have an adipose fin. He appeared to have been born that way. He was a great fish and although not a record size was pretty big. He weighed in at 54 lbs and a few ounces. He was 35 /4" long TL. The electronic scale says 57.2 lbs but the containers weighed 3 lbs.

Big loss but I still have my other 3 and they are all between 16 years and 27 years old.

If you dont mind me asking

i am new to MFK and enjoying monster fish, which is fairly limited in Australia but as you must know nothing is impossible! I want to thank you for sharing what must be a big part of yourself with everyone. i have read from start to finish and i am extremely impressed with with your set-up and how you follow your dreams, not to mention your patience and humility (i wish i got called a god so many times!) i am curious if you own a snakehead in any of your tanks? a friend of mine owns one and it is an absolute terror! my favorite story was the one about your dovii in the 15k and the pics of him were awesome, he certainly looks like the terror you described! i am yet to read the other article about your 15k but i hope there are more stories about that beast. Thanks again for the inspiration!
