all I have to say is wow.... and that 50,000gal is the thing dreams are made of... and I thought I was going big wanting a 10,000 gal wall in my house (when i get one ) ur like the Moses of the monster tank world, cept u made it in the gate!
I needed this size tank to accommodate Arapaima. I do water changes on going and filter back flushes as required by the pressure readings. The tank is fed a couple of times a week. This week the combination included Mackeral, Herring, Lake trout, Whitefish, smelt, Martin's trout Pellets in all sizes from 2 to 9 and a mixture of floating and sinking. Wardley's Flake Foods and a mixture of bananas, canteloupe, grapes, human cereal and bread. It varies quite a bit. They sometimes get dog food, cat food, a variety of other seafood including several types of shrimp etc.hotsauce;3608558; said:so i just have one question to ask...when did you decide to go this big? what is your schedule of maintanence consist of? what are you feeding and the schedule? im just fasicnated by what i am seeing.
