hey i had a question i have a arapaima fish and it looks like its shedding skin as far fetched as it sounds its true and im worried it may be a parasite can u help the asap please it still eats and swims araound a lot but im worried can u help please

Sorry, although I've kept Arapaima for many years I have never experienced the shedding you describe.

I often see them lose scales from either hitting something or fighting.

If your pima is young and you have it in a tank with other fish is it possible that it is being attacked and losing scales?
