Actually its very easy. I pump 2,000 gallons out using a swimming pool pump. This only takes a matter of minutes. The water goes to a couple of large outside ponds. I then just add 500 gallons an hour for 4 hours in a day. I repeat this 5 days in a row and I have changed 10,000 gallons in the week.

I don't think my entire apartment could hold 50,000 gallons. I would still do it anyway. I'd sleep underwater, maybe even grow gills. My landlord would be so pissed.
