Golden Ocean in Markham had some form of Mahseer last year, I'm not sure what species. We get Tor douronensis on the availability lists.

Thanks Simon

It is a great fish but would not something I would want in my tank. Maybe in 100 foot pond it would do better.

I was at Jerry Draper's Tropical Fish Room with Fever yesterday and picked up 3 Heteropneustes fossilis about 5" long.

Anything new at your store?

Love your arapimas , is that some sort of tilapia in the back ground ?

Thanks the Pimas are such a magnificent fish to watch.

Yes that is a Paratilapia aureum I believe. He is actually in the foreground and a very solid fish. The tank can be quite deceiving as the Arapaima is actually swimming about 6 feet from the glass.

I got the Tilapia with 2 others in 1998 originally from Aquarium Services at about 3 1/2". He is the only one left the last one was eaten by the Wallago about a month ago.

This one measured 23" in Feb 2010 when it was moved from the 15 to the big tank. He appears to have grown a little maybe 1/2" to 1" since then.

Thank you, Arapaimag.
Sorry for the constant questions.
What are the first 5 (realistic) entry on your
