The red tail catfish (top photo reply #797) Phractocephalus hemioliopterus
is about 36" and has a wrestling match with either of the smaller 2 year olds that are about 32" every other day and shows it.
The fish in the lower picture of #797 is of course not a rtc. It is a very old Blue Nile Channel catfish (Clarotes laticeps). It is terrible old age state. It has lost about half of its body weight the past 2 years and I have not seen it eat in many months. It is just dying slowly of old age.
