I don’t know Vieja too well, but with any cichlid you can’t go wrong with venting.

Pretty fish. Vieja get big so it’s too early to know accurately from body shape & color. If you can catch the fish and get a clear picture of the vent we can help.

oo = male, with the 2nd hole being slightly triangulated.
