Can Bluegill or Pumpkinseed Sunfish Live in a 75 Gallon tank?

well the place i would catch them from has bluegill and pumpkinseed spawning everywhere so id just try to catch the males guarding their nests, they're everywhere!

I have to throw out an opinion here buddy, get a green sunfish, they are awesome. They have huge mouths too, like bluegills with bass heads. One greeny and a couple of pumpkinseeds would be nice. Good luck.

greens are sweet! I've heard they are one of the more aggreesive sunfish.. i haven't caught any green sunnies in this big pond before, but i have caught blugill, pumpkinseeds, LM bass, and a chain pickerel once...you think green sunfish could be in there somewhere? if i cant get a hold of any green sunfish, would it be better to aviod the bluegil and just try for male pumkinseeds?

i had 6 greens , 4 perch and 1 longear and what i believe is a longear/pumpkinseed mix all together. the one longear mix was the most aggressive, the perch just hid, the greens were mellow and all but one just chilled (the one hid). Currently i just have the longear and longear mix, the longear mix is still the most aggressive

bluegills deff have a coll personality, both males and females. With what i keep seeing about their max adult size, would i only be able to get away with keeping 1 in a 75 gallon? how many bluegills can be in a 75 or are they too big for a 75?

:nono:
I wouldn't put any bluegill in a 75. the only reason they went in my 90 was the upgrade to a 245 was guaranteed. a bluegill can reach 16", a little too big for an 18" wide tank.

Greenies could be in there. I would check your states fishing information page and see if they are native to your area. They are aggressive. Sometimes very.
