Can i keep pleco with piranha

I have a school of 8 piranhas in my 6ft x 3ft tank. 240gal. I keep a pleco, jag, texan, oscar, convicts, salvini, 5 clown loaches and various catfish and an arowana all together. For quite a while too, and there have been no problems from anyone. Just keep lots of drift wood and plants for hiding or sleeping places and everything should be ok. Although some people do say you can't keep piranhas with anything.

Can you keep a running chain saw or two in a room with people. Sure. Eventually though, someone will loose a limb.

Yeah i wouldn't. I used to have a pleco in with my piranha's and had to take him out. Wasn't a good life for him in there! They're just poop machines as well!

i have 6 red bellies who are probably 3 inch or less do you guys think it would be okay to add in a 5" gold nugget pleco? its a great looking guy i just dont want to mess him up or let the piranha go all out and lose another 40 haha

I have kept plecos with my RBP but my niger ate then up everytime. Bigger pleco is obviously better.

I know more then one person with rbs and Plecos, and heard their stories of their rbs kicking the crap outta the Pleco until it turned over and they attacked its belly :/

that's good way to lost your expensive pleco....

Plecos have armour on them so the piranhas would probably leave the pleco alone
