just read through this thought your tank was going to look amazing, only to end like that sad. but keep your chin up as you say your already thinking about the next one and we all hope to see its progress here to finalization.

'Big Fella' the RTCxTSN Hybrid went to a guy who i'm gonna call 'The Catfish Whisperer' from now on, had a couple of RTC's at 32" and 40" already and obviously loved his fish very much so was happy to leave Big Fella there..............although in comparison he's not that big now. The guy just stroked him gently in the box for 5 min then lifted him out and into the new pond by hand, was quite special to watch as he'd never been that calm and ok with being touched before. Sorry, no pictures of it.
Edit: wrong pics!
Thanks, hopefully get to start another build thread sooner rather than later.haggi;4296689; said:just read through this thought your tank was going to look amazing, only to end like that sad. but keep your chin up as you say your already thinking about the next one and we all hope to see its progress here to finalization.
He was in Lincolnshire. Not gonna give anymore details away other than that as he struck me as being a rather private person (at least i think he is, not seen anyone like him from this country on here.) His biggest big cats were already in a decent sized pond but he was finishing off building a new 9x6x4 fibreglass home for them when i dropped Big Fella off so the 'smaller' ones he had could start growing out too.smokymcjoe;4296711; said:catfish whisperer

real shame mate, a sad day, at least though as loads of other people have said, the brain is ticking over the next buildSatan's Goldfish;4306690; said:Thanks guys. Hopefully the last fish will be out by the end of the week and i'll start tearing it down next week.
Mrs Satan has given me permission to do something that should work out about 20,000gal if we've got the space once we've moved (assuming the place we want to buy is still available!) So i'd best start working on plans and hope arapaima are legal there! Still follows the container idea but probably won't be transportable and will be one whole wall of my shed/workshop/garage/bar. Will have to be a very long term plan and hopefully I can get sold up here and move soon.mike huntley;4306767; said:real shame mate, a sad day, at least though as loads of other people have said, the brain is ticking over the next build
i'll get stuck back into mine real soon, round two. gonna go with the 600 quid glass price, best of the lot so that'll do.
