Think i need a fire pit that doesn't melt a little each time it gets a bit warm too. Just the top's getting burnt anyway, the 2x4s and mdf will be moving on to more uses.
Sad, and satisfying at the same time! It's hard to feel upset when playing with powertools.
Still not quite figured out how to get that glass out but at least it's slightly more managable now.

This will be the last post here from me. It's all been taken down now, all the wood's either been burnt or taken away for use else where. Sat in a fishless void atm until Mrs Satan and I have moved, she's given me permission for a huge build once we're settled so gonna be worth the wait
but will start a seperate thread for that once it's done.
Thanks to everyone who helped out and or commented on the thread, nice to know i wasn't always talking to myself! and i hope it's inspired others to go and build their own.

i dont know what happened i was being amused with you and ur mrs bussing loads of jokes and then i see your tank being emptied, i went throught 94 pages to come to this end, id be crying my eyes out after all that effort!!!
and the thing that killed me off was the lid the blue thing you just smashed it up and burnt it !?!?!?!?!

but hey i got to give it to you, you got some big ideas and i seriously dident think anyone had the time or dedication to do what they do over seas.

Many thanks for the kind words Shervin. Unfortunately we're still fish free and waiting to move (there's been a few hold ups) and i'm going slightly crazy not having any fish to look after. My trips to MFK haven't been as regular anymore since not having any but i will be back when the next build starts. Mrs Satan keeps putting ideas in my head, the biggest 'tank' idea we might try when we're settles is at 60,000 Gallons.........Damn we need to get moved!

Not yet. Still waiting to move. Getting married later this year and moving after that so resisting the urge until then. It gets tougher the longer i go without big fish. The plans for the next build are pretty much sorted now in my head, just need the space to start it.
