Thanks,

Everything in the plan is not exact it's just kinda an idea that I threw together really quick. It's either this or a 900 gal cattle trough. This tank would cost me roughly 3x what the trough costs and would be 2500 gals roughly.

Very much south..
Go bigger, if bigger is possible...we always regret, afterwards, not having done so....

I'm still young this is the first in line of a few large tanks. This one should work for many years.

On the Rio Araguaia, I wish...
No aggression problems on either of the planiceps I've kept. Mine is growing like a weed though, bought at about 3-4" and now is 12" in a few months. I think I picked it up near the end of march so 4 months it's grown 8 inches which is pretty good I think.

I'm about to move again and the 480 gallon pond that is set up here is probably moving with me to my apartment balcony on the first story and getting some hardcore insulation but if not the fish I'm growing out are small enough to live in the 240 for the next year until I can start the "real" pond construction or have a mega tank built at a more permanent residence :)

yeah, I am debating on weather to do it in the diy section or here in the catfish section since it will be an almost strictly catfish tank.

Put it in the DIY section probably and cross link it here under this thread. I'll have to get in touch with you sometime relatively soon Cliff to find out a little more about this pond your building, I've been out of the loop to long but saw the demo pics of it a couple pages back. It looks like it's going to be awesome! ~Trent
