How cool are these pics? My big lima now almost 14", was shedding his slime coat today, and I just happened to catch him in the act. That's when i noticed that he yawns an aweful lot to get the slime off his head. So I took it as a good chance to get some cool photos and show you guys how big his mouth is. lol. It's amazing!

his head is a little more than 2" wide to give you a good idea! He could seriously eat my other 2 limas, but he seems to like them alright!

lol, not the God thing again! I thought I was threw with that after high school...... oh well. lol. Just so everone knows I will start building the frame for my mega cat tank within the next couple weeks. Just have to find someone with a truck to go to the lumber yard with me!

wow Great Cats I love them all I am going to try to get a pack of Limas, anyone here have 6+ limas?

Necro I'm suprised you don't have a regular RTC in that mix. Reguardless ur cats are impressive.

several members here have more limas than that. Supposedly they hunt in a pack I've never seen mine attempt it. Two stick together and the other one thinks he's king of the tank. He beats up every fish in the tank inculding the other limas. Probably doesn't help that he was raised seperately with a tsn, he beats him up also. I want a rtc, but unfortunately I live in montana the state with little to no large catfish for sale. It is almost impossible to find rtc in this state. I would have to order or go out of state to get one. I have been to every pet store within 200 miles and they all say that they will not order it.

The big boy is doing good. Eating like a horse. Been feeding him about 2 lbs. of shrimp, and 2 lbs. of pompano per week. He ripped half my planiceps tail off so the planiceps is now in a make shift Qtank for now until his tail grows back. Getting the supplies together for my tanks I am building. Upped the anty to now I am making 2 tanks. 1 will be around 300 gals, and the other 2500 gals.
