catfish that survive winter

oh do i ever plan to use a massive UV sterilizer system since the whole pond will be in direct sunlight for about 5 hours of the day. and i never herd that mollies will survive the winter i thought that they die once the water hits 10 like most other tropicals.

and fishcatch22 that explains why they attack and suck out any and all nails i put in there no matter how big, i wonder how they would like clams?

Not dojo loaches. Weather loaches! Dojos are tropical. Bitterling, mosquito fish, small sunfish (orangespot, dollars, longears, ect.), bullhead cats (will probably eat baby koi), and believe it or not goldfish do a great job at eating algea.

Dojo's and most gambusia will survive through the winter in the great lakes region. If your south of here then it'll be all that easier. If north of here you still stand a good chance of survival.
