Channa marulioides?Channa marulius?

yah..
but right now i think maybe i should wait for my new channa to grow first..
coz i see it's pattern is like marulius..(according to my google search:D)
so if they r marulius, what should i do?
can they be a good tankmate with marulioides?
this is just for prevention..
if they r marulioides, so there is nothing to be worried about..

The fish you have pictured are 100% Channa Marulioides.
Why not just compare them to the pic I posted on mine on page 2.

And putting Channa Marulius in with Marulioides will most likely end in a very bad way.
Marulius are nasty when they hit the 8"+ size.

And a tank of no less than 8ft x 3ft x 3ft is recommended minimum. The size recommended for Micropeltes is even bigger.

from what i see at your pictures, and when i compared them,
i can tell you that mine is marulioides..

i see them from this link:

Channa Marulioides Growth

thanks..:D

is it ok if i keep my marulioides in one tank?
there's 4 of them..

Might be OK. If they pair up there will be destruction though.
How big is the tank?

it's just about 3 feet in length x 1.5 in wide x 2 high...
it is not too big but big enough for my babies..
i will buy another bigger tank when they reach mature size..
now i have separate the smallest one because it's tail have been bitten by my tiger barb..
when i put the tiger barb with the bigger snakehead, gosh!! one of them got eaten! hahaha..
it just a matter of time for the other one to got eaten too..:D:D:D

when did the snakehead will breed?
i mean from what size, or from what age it will be mature enough to breed..?;)

I think maybe that is a bit difficult to let them breed...
