Channa marulioides?Channa marulius?

UPDATE:

i have to put the SMALLEST one into another tank and mix him with my bichirs..
they seems pretty fix to be mixed..
the reason why i mix them, is the biggest channa try to bite and eat him..!!
i don't understand why..
he got bitten at his fin..so pitty..

what i know from my readings, and from my observation to my snakeheads, they will not bite or eat each other..

for your information, i have bought another 2 marulioides at shah alam, behind wetworld at this day..they sold them for RM7.50 each..
but these 2 is more smaller..
and when i first put them in the tank, they seems to get to know each other..even the bigger one can bite them till death, they didn't do it..
when the smaller is not moving for sometime, the bigger will come to it and 'check' if it is still alive..

Why don't you buy channa marulius instead of buying channa marulioides?
Now some fishshop aready have sale channa marulius..so nice..only RM20..

and why you recommend at me marulius instead of marulioides?

I have mixed all of my bichirs (4 of them) with my snakeheads (also 4)..
they all seems pretty good as there is no fighting between them..

Sorry,i can't give you the address of the fishshop,but now really everywhere can see channa marulius(fishshop got sale aready and their price is much lower than last few years)...
The difference between channa marulius & channa marulioides :
Channa Marulioides can grow until 60-70 cm(Local-Malaysia)
Channa Marulius can grow until 183 cm , 30kg..(normally import from Thailand or India)
Marulius aready have white spot when it was about 3-4''inches
On the other hand , Marulioides need to grow until 7-8'' to have white spot...

i think it's not a big deal because i have not big enough tank for marulius..
but if i may, i will buy bigger tank if my channa is marulius..
for this time, i think i wanna find micropeltes coz it is more vicious and brutal..that's what i wanna see from a snakehead!!

If you have enough money , i suggest you to buy a wild platinum channa micropeltes...they caught in the lake...they sold about Rm200(just one piece only)...last time i saw is about 30++cm...

Micropeltes freebies is very common at fishshop aready...Maybe you can ask the seller order for you..
