I made a temporary diverter from my inflow pipe, and I'm getting pretty good flow to the planter. In fact everything is going through the planter, as I have blocked off my secondary (circulation) feed.
I bought quite a bunch of pothos. This 30 has a big hole in the lid so I just stuffed The Roots right through it and rested them on some fake plants.
This guy may decide to chew on the roots. I don't know if he will like the pothos but he is normally murder on live plants.
Looks like you are using a grow light of some sort.
This is my cheapie Kmart grow light. I got this on sale for $14 about a year ago.
Now K-Mart is no more . . .
I used a couple of bent wires and some rubber bands to suspend it. The wires just plug through some holes I drilled in the flower boxes. If you misalign the holes slightly, you get a good friction fit and they stay put.
This was a quickie setup, using a flower box, two small plastic bins which house LED lights from a used hood for the 20g below, and a LED clip-on light I made from various junk, to light the ivy.
The water feeds from an air hose bleeding off the pressure pipe of the 30 tall to the left, and returns thru the 3/4" PVC pipe to the 30.
But it sits on a 20 which houses little Sunshine.
Sunshine's lamp is too dim though. I need more LEDs on the circuit.
