Member that guy was on here that said somethin bout thr roots rotting because not enough movement.... Well i jus went and got this
Got it on the circulation pump setting for max movement. The box says that maxes out at 1300 gph so that should be enough lol... Im prolly gonna get another one and point it at the sand to stir up poo but for now id rather have it helpin my war against nitrate lol. Here it is pointed straight at the main bundle of roots
And i goty inflow from my diy canister pointed towards the front glass with the power head right over ot pointing towards the back glass

Nice man, right idea, but I had that same circulator and it leaked stray voltage into my tank and almost killed my shoal, I highly recommend you take it back and get a koralia EVO 1400 circulator! Got mine for 45$ on http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=3578+4586+23592&pcatid=23592, incredible gph and extremely efficient on power consumption, not to mention it doesn't use suction cups, its a magnetic mount!

Uh oh... I have the ame exact circulation pump. Time to go I guess...... I also have a hydor, not sure if its the same as show here but the flow sucks.
How did u figure out it was basically electricuting your fish... How did u figure that out?

Just dip your finger in the water, if you feel a wierd tingle sensation that's stray voltage into your tank, mine was brand new when it happened. I was so mad!

Well good thing i just got it today.... I gues the docs will have to send me one of those evos. Its already unpluged but jus sittin in the tank cause im in the middle of walking dead roght now so ya cant go anywhere at the moment
