I just dropped some shrimp in, and one of them got all excited and ate a few pieces:headbang2. The other one didn't eat any because he was hiding. They are understandably still a little skittish, but I'm sure they will come around in no time and be nailing the dead foods:D.

Awesome bro!!! Didn't take you long to get your hands on some more did it? Those are beauties!!
I couldn't stand not having more Cichla! Except now I had to get rid of the Mono because he was going after the new Azuls, and he has killed a smaller Cichla before. It's all good. I would easily rather have the Azuls than the Mono.

How's the Pinima doing?

Bummer on the mono!! He was a good looking fish. The Pinima is doing great. No aggression problems at all, hangs with the occels and they get along fine. My pics suck so I haven't posted any yet.

I came home tonight to discover I lost one of the two Azuls:(

This is the first time I ordered fish myself, and I loved these guys. This was a huge blow. There was very minor aggression between the three Cichla in the tank, although I believe he was killed by another fish because of his appearance and the fact that water parameters are fine.
