Beautiful, I have seen these on rapps' list for a while now and was curious to pick some up. Now that I see how nice they are, I might have to pull the trigger on a pair!

Actually, I think these are adults. I’ve had them for seven months and they stopped growing a few months ago. All the females are 2.5”, while the males are maybe 3.5” - 4”. Jeff’s seem to be about the same.

There’s a chance they’ll continue slowly growing but I’m starting to think this might be it!

Their coloration is the same as Krobia guianensis, which are found in the wild. The only difference is the lack of black body markings.

I picked up my first one tonight, from a buddy who had a pair, but the male ended up killing the female. I plan on getting a couple females from Rapps very soon. Excited to see the progress on your fry. Hopefully I am able to have the same luck and join you on the mystery.

How big is the male you picked up?

About 3.5”. He really isn’t that big at all.
