its kind of awesome that nobody know exactly what kind of cichlid this is I'm suprised in a good way. the owner purchased it at petco/pet smart !!!

Looks to me like a kamfa flowerhorn
Kamfa usually have the nice big fan tail
My guess would have to be some sort of vieja mixed with fh or amphilopus
TBH I really like it lol looks cool with that big tail and is it possibly fading ?

A shop under normal light (without that weird purple glow) might help it is a real cichlid, and not a hybrid.

looks like a jumbo male spilurum or possibly sajica.

I'm guessing poor quality flowerhorn who's colors never really came through. Still a cool looking fish I like him overall.
