Well...here is the update.

I found a $90 gorgeous, healthy blue girdle down here today. In fact, lots of them. They are not shy, and are greedily eating NLS.

This is too good for me to pass up.

The question is, do I get a purple, or a powderblue as well?

I would need to ship them all at the same time...and I am just a little worried about feeding compitition with the tangs and the angel.

Other things I might ship back include 3x $15 blood fire shrimp.

Undulated trigger.

I have removed my panther grouper, and my rectangulus from my display. I am also ditching the large coral banded shrimp.

They generally do not tolerate any other blood shrimp besides the one they mate with.

I am not sure if Flesh was planning on putting them all in one tank or not, so that may be the case?

At this price, we are attempting to make a pair. A man once asked me if I cared to live dangerously. His name was Heathd. The answer was yes. :D

This tank does sound exciting! With the colors of everything going in, it should make a REALLY nice display.

Thanks, I think so too.

Just gotta get the calcium reactor, and everything else up and running.

Sump should be finished this week. Hopefully with me removing one of my tanks, I can do the h2o changes to keep up the h2o quality needed for my high end sps...going to try to cap both of my caves with acro/milli...work down the sides with montis...then LPS stuff on the bottom.

Im really excited, but we are a couple years away.

Like I said, Im sparing no expense on this experiment. Im eager to see. Hopefully getting the trigger so small will make him less likely to be a jerk later in life.

I believe all species of Lysmata are simultaneous hermaphrodites so you should be able to get a pair out of them pretty easily.
