Compilation of DIY plywood tanks (Load Warning)

Very nice thread. I just joined the forum looking for inspiration and have found it in many of these photos.

Oh the possibilities! now my wife is REAL worried... what with all these ideas rolling in my head, the basement will never be the same again xD

These are all amazing tanks and I was wondering what the cost would be for a simple 200 gallon plywood tank?

You can most likely find a used 200 for less than you can build one out of plywood. Back when I built mine, the cost was about $300 for the total project. Nowadays, just the wood will cost you more than that.

I plan on starting mine in the spring time. gonna be 72x30x36. got a spot in my basement right next to a closet that is gonna work perfectly. The area is 8 ft wide and am planning on building cabnets at one end of the tank.

I'm floored by all these great plywood builds, that's it, I'm building me a plywood tank! :headbang2

I'm late but.... These are great. Time for some blueprints.
