Awesome skimmer!! Can you make a list of stock??
4 - Phoenix Barbs
6 - Tinfoil Barbs
1 - Albino Giant Gourami
1 - Black Shark
2 - RedFinned Cigar Sharks
4 - Florida Gar
1 - Albino Channel Cat
1 - RTC/TSN Hybrid
1 - RTC
1 - HiFin Banded Shark
1 - Oscar *last one. Oscars haven't faired too well in my pond. They just turn their bodies sideways when the big cat swims towards them instead of swimming away like all the other fish.
1 - Jaguar Cichlid
1 - Arowana
1 - Vieja Argentea
1 - Texas cichlid

Mmmm...I think that's it not counting the koi and comets.

In growout are 2 ripsaw cats, 6 pbass, another rtc, 2 tsn's, and various sa cichlids. The rtc will go in the pond this week. The others probably won't make it to the pond this year.

About 6-7 hours of skimmate...

I let the foam dissipate on the white bucket to show the quality of the skimmate....very pleased!

Well no good updates...my arowana jumped out of the pond. Sucks! he was growing so fast and looking great. I'm planning on getting a 3 or 4 small ones and growing them out for next year.

Then I had an bluegreen algae bloom so I used aqua shade dye to get it under control. It worked well but it makes it impossible to take any decent pics or vids. All the other fish are doing well though.

What's the temp like this time of year?
If you still got the fractionator on it will remove the dye. UV should keep the water clear.
My pond this summer started to turn green. I replaced the three year old UV bulb and the water cleared up right away.
Sorry to hear about the aro. How big are the spinibarbus?

Temp is in the mid 80's now. I didn't have green water, I had a nasty slime algae that floated to the surface during the day. It was nasty stuff..

From researching I learned that this type of algae thrives in low nitrate water where other types of algae can't grow and my nitrate was at zero. So I started dosing potassium nitrate. I'm starting to get just a little hair algae growing again but I'm going to keep the water dyed until I'm sure this slimy stuff is gone.

Phoenix barbs are around a foot long, they've gotten very thick. My RedFinned Cigar Sharks have been growing nicely this year too, they're very "masheer-like". Someday I'll manage to get a pic of them.

At night the dye isn't as noticeable so here's video of the fish getting a night time snack. It came out ok. You can see the rtc/tsn has been growing fast.

KenDragon - around 1:25 you get a decent view of one of the spinobarbus under the light.
