We finally had a few inches of rain which was enough for me to get the pond topped off and the filter back online. Now I'm trying clean up the water with potassium permanganate treatments. Hopefully in a few days I'll have clear water and be able to see the fish again. I'm a bit nervous to find out how much hunting my cats were doing in the murky water. I know they got the Oscar and I'll be shocked if the hifin banded shark managed to avoid them.

I think an updated stocklist is in order:)

Well I only have about 12" of visibility now so I'm not sure what I have left. The one's I've seen are 4 phoenix barbs, 2 red finned cigar sharks, some tinfoil barbs (can't tell how many), all the cats (2 rtc's, 1 rtc/tsn, albino channel cat), albino giant gourami, 4 spotted gar, Silver cichlid (Vieja Argentia), and most of the koi seem to be ok although it's hard to tell.

Still in growout are 2 ripsaw cats, 5 peacock bass, 2 tsn's, giraffe cat, and I have various cichlids in the stock tanks (snook, flowerhorn, Herichthys Pearsei). Hopefully they will be big enough to go in the pond next year.

I've been subbed to this thread since the beginning and it's incredible to see the progression over the years! Well done! It truly is
... an MFK fairytale...
!

I'd love to see some general pics of the pond as a whole and some more feeding videos!

Thanks, hopefully I can get the water clear enough for some pics/vids before I have to cover the pond for winter.

The water is slowly clearing up, about 24" of visibility now. I just spotted my hifin banded shark :headbang2, man I can't believe the big cats didn't get ahold of him in the murky water.

Here's a quick vid of how the water is looking now. The giant gourami has put on some nice growth over the summer...

Once I get the water clear again I'll have to figure out how to get pics/vids of my Phoenix barbs. They've grown a lot and their colors have really started to come in...very cool looking.
