It wasn't just someone who didn't believe me, it's a credited breeder saying that what I posted is "definitely" not true - he didn't ask for proof, he said there was no way. As a newcomer to the hobby, a comment like that from a professional literally obliterates my credibility. Now there's no point in me posting updates on these babies because anybody reading through won't believe that they're actually what they are - and that's aside from everything else. It's just pretty disheartening when someone who you should be able to look up to shuts you down without discussion, and now I don't really feel like anything I say will mean anything on this forum until I have absolute proof ?‍ but eh, I'll get over it.

So I'll just be back in a couple months, once I've finished editing the entire process. Until then, nobody's going to believe a word I say anyway, right? ? ciao

I guess thats why they say dont meet your idols well i guess in this care dont message them lol also I wish you the best of luck in documenting them.?

One of my failures in identification led to a mislabeling of an entire species that's still circulating the hobby almost a decade later.

Frankly I think you're making a mountain out of a mole hill. I don't understand how one person being skeptical of your claim warrants three pages of this, but to each their own.
