My mother in law told me about all these little bass she kept catching. We went back to the same spot one day and I fished with her. I caught a few chubs before she walked over and the next one I pull out of the water I go "Dang it, another chub."
She goes "That's not a bass?"
I had to stop myself from falling on the ground laughing and nearly peeing myself. She was pretty insulted.
So the next one I catch looks a bit different and has a more solid black strip and she goes "There's no way that's a chub too!"...
So yeah. I had to explain to her that the fish her and her friend were catching all day last time were all a bunch of big creek chubs.
