They aren't cheap, Oliver was selling them for quite a good amount. About the same price as Crenicichla tigrina...so yeah, expect to really dish it out if you get them. They are definately one of the coolest pikes available. Not many species have such remarkable differences in male/female coloration...

Selling them recently for a good amount or you mean a few years ago when he had them for sale?

Oliver is pretty busy right now, he barely has enough time to reply to emails. LoL. I'll see if he has more pictures though...

I think he had some this year but sold them to Japan, along with the tigrina...they WEREN'T cheap!!

My god, that is supremely beautiful. Sort of reminds me of a rainbow trout, but better looking, and rivals a female Festae for most spectacular South American cichlid.
