Yeah i know it will be. Thats pretty cold. We had about three nights in a row that were below freezing and then the days were about 60 F. It surprises me that my pond isnt that cold yet. It is 13,000 gallons so I knew it would take a little while to get cold but im still amazed.

So i found out my thermometer has actually stopped working and it is stuck on 60 F. lol I just need to buy a new one cause that one is pretty old. Unfortunately I went outside yesterday and the one pleco i was unable to catch was dead and floating. I feel bad but i did manage to get everything else out that wouldnt survive the cold before they died. I saved 14 but lost 1. :(

Too bad, seemed a little surprising that it would have been that high

Charles-Yeah i guess I did, just not the way I wanted. I had to throw it over the fence on the back of our property cause my dog kept trying to take it and run off. lol

Yeah I was surprised too but that thermometer has never had a problem till now and ive had it three years. Oh well, time for a new one.

Charles, thanks for the offer man but I couldnt really take them at this point. Ive disassembled my 700 gallon indoor pond and all i have running is my 300 gallon, which still have 5 pacu in that tank. Good luck finding a new home for them.
