Diy 330 gallon project

Man she looks good on the stand!! On to building my k3 moving bed filter and plumbing. Then levelin once I touch up the paint and paint the stand as well. It's close now guys what you think?

Looking real good, great progress, just wondering why you chose K3. I was torn between K 1-3 so am just wondering why you chose the K 3. Also what size sump are you running it in and which air pump
 
From what I read about K3 filters better more more product per square foot and it's supposed to have more surface area per square foot as well. It's smaller pieces of what k1 is about half the size ish and seemed like the better move
 
That might sound confusing let me clarify lol. K1 is smaller then k3. K3 has more surface area per square foot then k1 does. Hope that clears it up. The last post confused myself sorry lol
 
Going to build doors centered from the middle and wrap the rest of this stand as well to keep the noise down from the moving bed filter I'll be running. Also putting sound proofing insulation on the inside walls to keep noise down so I can enjoy the tank without the crazy noise it might have

Looking good, we are about in the same process, hopefully finishing the plumbing this weekend then I can add water. How long until your ready for water
 
look forward to it, I just got my barrels today, have all the media, waiting on the return pumps but have alot of plumbing to do. Still not sure on my drains
