Diy 330 gallon project

Making progress we are about the same progression. I posted on you other thread about the fluidize bed I'm really trying to figure out what to hook to my air lines that will work in the barrel. Hers a pic of mine, going to cover the K1 bare

I've heard that before too. I've also heard that using an air line is the best cause it forces bigger bubbles into it causing more rotation in the water cause the bubbles are bigger therefore move faster to the top. Not sure if it's true but sounds right in theory. I'm using 2 2" circle stones that I'm siliconin to the bottom opposite sides should do fine

One 6 inch air stone right in the center will do a good job of boiling the k1

Thats all I need, thought I needed 2 foot long strips on each side, whatever gets the job done works for me. I see alot of sump fluidize beds air set ups but not much in the 55 barrels

Interesting I'll have to experiment with different ways to do it before I decide my final build I'm sure I'll get something the way I can be satisfied with it lol

Now just from my experience with 25l of k1 in a 24"×24"×17" chamber is to get it moving and seeded before you start changing designs. K1 moves differently once seeded
