Nice build! You could easily park a bus on that stand! The glass is 12 mm? From the pic it looks thinner. Optical illusion?

Thanks, yeah may be i would try to see how much load it can take some day when i am done with glass tanks , yes the glass is definitely 12mm, not sure why it looks thinner but yes it does in the pic. interesting.

Update on my build, i just finished installing the custom made 3D background and here are the pics, will be coating it in resin tomorrow for creating the water proofing.

Thankd jft, its made with styrofoam, i just scrapped it into the desired shape and then painted it with white cement abd colour mixture, finally i will put a coat of resin to seal everything in.

Update... Finally i have finished the canopy and put in place with the lights, i am using phillips aquarelle, they are rated at 10000 K . Also moved some fish from my old tank, only thing left to move now are the rays. Fingers crossed. Here Are some pics, let me know what you think.
