DIY 55 gallon sump - Need help!

The pic was taken just after I had it set-up and running, maybe a week. I wish it still looked that clean after a few months now

Ha I was gonna say, thought you were getting the toothbrush out frequently to clean it.

Realistically though, you don't want your sump to be completely clean. You want it to be growing beneficially bacteria because it will help stabilize the tank.

So no worries that it is getting dirty.

Ya, I enjoyed a clean sump while it lasted. Already starting to look like a heatly sump should
