DIY growout tanks for indoor pond.

the duettos are a quick fix, I am upgrading on tuesday, and also getting everything for my pond. I had to house some special fish quickly, low on budget so I went with the duettos. Last time I will go with them though. Thanks for the advice. I upgrade a little with each and every payday. LOL. I will have plenty of $$ to play with come tuesday. I will post some more pics when I upgrade the filtration, or when I get the pond setup. Look for it in the pond section also. Check out my personal gallery for what's been living in these tubs for the past week. I have been doing a sh@t load of water changes. I used some old filter media from an established aqaurium to boost the bio on these. Also been putting stress zyme in. I was in a bind. I should have waited on the fish, but when you get an offer like the one I had you just can't pass it up. So now I have some beautiful catfish chillin in my tubs. I am not feeding them very much until they get into the pond.

Lol yup thats awesome lol

they are actually filled about 4 inches more now and they did bulge quit a bit. That's why the pads are there now. I don't care how cheezy it looks. LOL. So long as my fish are well kept.[/quote]

Hey I still got those tubs. i've used them to move the big boy many times lol. That wasn't my begginings in fishkeeping. That was a time when I had very little money, but was big on ambition. I had been keeping fish again for about a year when I came across the hybrids I got. I had to come up with something quick, and cheap, lol. Hope you guys followed up with the progression of the pond over time. That thing has transformed time, and time again!
