The only problem I see in this overflow is when something is stucked or blocked the pipe:irked: Im sure your pump will burn and a wet floor:cry: I'm really nervous about this overflow....Or maybe a deadfish may blockade the pipe:( any solution outhere?:(

You have to have an even balance.
In my systems,if the overflow gets blocked, the tank can hold all the water from the sump.
And if the pump fails the sump holds all the water from the tank.

If you are that concerned, make 2(or 3) overflows,if one fails you have a backup.

overflow box? DIY screen? for me i made sure the water level in the tank wont overflow if the pipe got blocked and i set the pipes going to the sump to a level where it will stop and will not overflow on the w/d
