this day I edited my immitated design coz it is not operational:( ,I also took Volenti's advice,at first I put a hole on the third elbow but it always loose its continuity:irked: so decided to cut another pipe and replaced that punched pipe.....amazingly it worked so great!!!:WHOA: :WHOA: I was overwhelmed to see it work..I've tested it many times and it doesn't loose its prime,if the pump stop's obviously it also stops the flow but once the pump is turned on it will already flow again:ROFL:

FHM!

:naughty:

one question! how do you start the flow? im tired of sucking the pipe manually:irked:
But that's the best part!

If you don't like tasting the water your fish pee in attach a length of pvc tubing to the top of the vent pipe before you suck, that way you can see the water flowing through the tubing and avoid copping a mouth full. (this also allows you to have a really good suck at it and ensures a good prime) You'll have to block the outlet temporally so the suction will work.

Block outlet, suck vent pipe then release outlet, should be good to go if you did it right.

so you mean that theres no other way but to suck that pipe?maybe ill try filling the pipes full of water before submerging it,then release it...hope that will work...

1 thing I've discovered....a 1 inched PVC pipe can't accomodate two big pumps rated 2200 liters/hour (I dunno if its accurate),,its better to have 2 pipes if your gonna use 2 big pumps
