Hey man, are you able to boil that at all? Or put in you tub with water that is as hot as possible.
I've boiled wood in 55 gallon drum. You can also use pool salt to speed up process and kill microbes/fungus. Then rinse thoroughly before putting in tank.

FishBeast FishBeast I dont think I can find a clean 55G drum anywhere unfortunately. I did scrub with salt and a filter pad before putting in the tank though, dont want any free loaders making their way into the tank.

james99 james99 That is the route im going, I found some pvc screws at home depot I'm going to use for the fastener after I drill

I just droped in the tank for new wood and waited it out, not like its hurting anything. just floating around.
