my silver is in a borderline sized tank for when he is an adult. is a 135 6X18X24. i should be able to keep him in ther for at least 2 years. he is 6" now. kick myself in the a** for not getting a 300 gal of the bat. or at least a 240.

but im my opinion you can keep a silver in a tank my size for quite a while but definately nothing less.

i had a silver in my 125 (6ftx18in) and it grew from 4" to 18" in about a year

wife is gonna kill me when the 300 rolls in.

thanks for your help but how do you think a dwarf snakehead like channa pulchra (Burmese Snakehead) or channa ornatipinnis (spotted Burmese Snakehead) would get on with the jardini or silver?

No such thing as dwarf arowana. smallest is Jardini and thats 24in

not really,in wild im sure jardinis get bigger then 24" lol,theres always SB if u can find 1

could get 2 or 3 payara scombs. only get 10-12 inches and are very cool. only bad thing is breaking them off live feeders,not easy for the most part.

i have 1 scomb right now and 2 on the way.


im not sure about the snakehead, but i wouldnt add and arow to the piranna or the oscar tank.
