Hey, did you get the river rock yet?
My daughter and I went and got some yesterday, looks great, have a pic in my gallery.
No I didn't. I have as few more days of work before I can get to scaping. I start the new stand for the 120 gallon this week. Maybe

Thanks guys! :D update for tonight. The 300g looks like crap today but in a few more days this tank is going to make you drool I promise. MFK members aclockworkorange and Dan Feller (great to meet you face to face bro!) came over today and we set up a new 90 gallon at "somebodys" house.. my lips are sealed.. :naughty: I spent the last hour or so carving foam in the 300g.

I made a mess on the front panel of the tank. There were spots of pond foam everywhere (walls you name it, you have to keep shaking the can) so make sure to use it outside or prepare to clean up.. Don't try and clean it up wet, cut it off after it's dry and clean with a razor. Extremely sticky..

I did the top and bottom. and did not even realize I went over the holes for the returns.. :duh: I wanna make a "tank nutz" joke really bad right now but I'll refrain..

Remember these pics because in a few days it will look totally diffferent. The foam expanded so much that the bottom pushed up the BG another 1" and now I need to cut it just to get the bulkhead fittings back in (they will still be better than Aqueon's though, pound sand BTW). I'll get before and after pics up later tonight.

ps - after 4 long months of recovery, I am off of Coumadin (blood thinners) and tomorrow I am released to go back to work!!!!!! :headbang2:headbang2:headbang2

Oh and don't bake sand in the oven.. I'm pretty sure if I were in the state of California I would have cancer now, thank goodness I live in Washington...

It was really good meeting both you guys, it was my first face-to-face contact with an MFKer after nearly three years on the site. :screwy:

You really do have some nice fish Justin, really gorgeous. Even though your tanks are all in transition, it is easy to see the effort you put into them.

Did you guys make it to the World of Wet Pets? Pick up anything? I just grabbed a book and a couple filter socks - I promised my wife not to bring home more fish...

Thanks Dan! Its great putting a face to the name finally and meeting another filtration "mad scientist" :D after all I have a FBF 300 on a 10 gallon...

I'm not saying you drove up a 90 gallon, I'm not saying clockwork went back to his place set it up, painted the back and bought something 13" long, I'm not saying we figured out the best way ever to add sand in (without washing) I'll let clockwork speak for himself on that one lol...

It's good your not saying anything about what happened, Justin. If you did, ACWO, would be speechless. :D

:woot::woot::thumbsup:  Hip-Hip-Hurray for Justin!! Man, that is terrific news coming from you. I am so happy to hear you're doing so great with your health. You need to throw another birthday party for yourself, Justin. Congradulations.
