You can bake it in small amounts.
Can you clarify "small amount" like in pounds?? What temp? Sorry for the questions guys, I haven't asked for much help in this thread so ideas are appreciated.

JK47 asked me to post a few pics from his phone and give a little update so here they are!

Background was cut into 4 slices and used tie down straps along with a scrap 2x6 on each end to glue them back together

This one here is the overal design, woodsy, dark rivers edge with a deep sand bed. Just a test fit here not the finished product.

And finally the the 120 in the dining room has lights and inhabitants!!

that 300 is looking sweet! awesome job justin!

Just fill a baking sheet crank the oven to 400 and leave it for 5 minutes, then let it cool down. I've never done it, but I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Hmmm, I will try it and see. Seems like it would work. My wife if going to think I'm friggen nuts when she gets home. I tor my pants, have pond foam in my hair and am baking sand in the oven... Not sure how to explain that lol..

She's heard that allot latelly lol! Foam is 100% done. I just got back with the black silicone. Now I need to paint the foam with silicone/sand once I dry out a few pounds.

Check out this site a friend sent me. Some of the aquascaping in this tank involves jungle vines. Scope it out: http://www.amazinggreenhouse.com/ListSelect.cfm?recordID=Jungle Vine

Finally got my charger :headbang2 I'll post the pics I said I would and catch us up to tonight.

I stopped the leak in the 120g, cleared up the tank and was even soaking a few leaves waiting to move it.

I moved the tank to a temporary place in our dining room. It's ultimate resting place will be were the 10 gallon is. I only want one tank in this room.

I moved over all of the plants and wood from the 125g. and fired up the FX5. Could not be happier with this tank...

With the Loc-Line pointed down the flow from just the single FX5 was moving the sand away. This sand is heavy so that's pretty cool. I am really happy with that choice.

125 gallon tear down. I hate this tank... :( Big change of plans: after seeing Natalie setting up her 150 for a single fish I kind asked myself why am I replacing this tank? I already have two big tanks that are awesome. I don't want so many tanks they become a chore so I sold most of the fish in my 300 gallon and am going to grossly understock both tanks with what I already have. Thanks for getting my wheels turning girl ;) this is gping to be a fry and experiment tank. Don't care if it gets scratches or whatever. Just nasty garage tank.

I gave aclockworkorange the last (river stump) background so he could have a big tank with a BG too. He's helped me allot, it was the nice thing I could do for him and I wasn't going to use it. (where be the thread bro??)

P1010512.JPG

For about the last 10 months or so I have been adding pothos cuttings to this tank you see in this shot below. The one in the box was suprising how much it had grown. The box is 18"x18".

P1010518.JPG

P1010521.JPG

The two cuttings came from my father plant. One went into a pot my son made for mom and the other went into my tank. Check out what came out I was shocked.. The two cuttings were taken at the same time. Apparently my dads plant was ment to be in this tank. Roots included it was over 5' long.

nice, have you put much thought into what kind of experiments you might try in the 125?

WOW you've gotten a lot done! I love the 120g, with the wild plants and all that driftwood. The background suits it perfectly. How generous of you give away the River Stump background too! I'll look for that thread to pop up sometime soon. :)

Can't wait to see what happens with the 300g!
