From this point forward, it's about the finishing touch. What sets my projects apart from other peoples. (stand, lighting, drip system etc..) You ever notice how people with awesome tanks "crop" their pics so it's perfect? I say screw it and lets make the whole tank art. If people need things photo'shopped and cropped they can do it themselves..David K. Bradley;4696245; said:Edit: Any updated photo's yet?
Forget the lexus, your gunna bring up the skinny jeans huh big guy...??? I will never understand what these kids are thinking.. The driftwood plans got a little more complicated. I won the free manzanita an mfk vendor has been selling latelly. Looks like I'm going to have both in the tank now. At least I'll get the chance to compare both, one with the "plans", one with the manzanita.aclockworkorange;4696372; said:Mr. JK47 makes too much money at his big boy job to ever mess around with tanks as a money making venture with me right now. And he has a wife to buy cars for and two kids to buy red skinny jeans for.
He is also doing some very sneaky ninja original stuff for the 125 that no one has done before... that's why he drilled. I have been sworn to secrecy for MONTHS!
Phase II has officially began. Now that all tanks have basic equipment and are cycled, I can focus back on the RO systems and finishing touches mentioned above. I have been using RO for a long time. It takes my tap from ph 7.6 to below 6.0 and 0 TDS.. Tap on left, RO output on right. RO filter is temp as seen in below pic, just making a quick batch for the 10g.
First on the list is the 10 gallon. I switched out the filtration today. I pulled off the Lifeguard FBF 300 off and added an AC50 clockwork gave me. (thanks bro)
I pulled an old Eheim classic mech pad from a classic and cut it up to make this filter 100% mechanical/movement. There is no bio media in the 10 gallon and (see pic a page ago or so) the perams are 0, 0, 0. YEAH 0 NITRATES... I cut up a few different DIY filter pads (all mech) and moved the FBF 300 sand filter to the 125 gallon.
