epsom salt in-bucket bath dose?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yes that salt content is fine.

The api general cure will have metro and prazi in ot. Metro has been known to help with bloating. I'd try it.

I got a bag of assorted meds in saturday, but her bloat should've gotten the right ones immediately upon symptoms.
She never caved in, but wasn't improving & what seemed like clear fine intestinal tissues were floating around qt, they were probably disintegrating.
I put her down last night.

then cut her open out of curiosity. Fluid poured out, soon as my cut got through & she deflated. perhaps releasing it with a syringe needle early on would've been worth trying.
I really had no idea what I was doing in there :-/ but saw no glaringly obvious red inflammation, organs seemed normal size.
saw no sign of parasites but didn't expect that, having never introduced unknown factors into her tanks.

Ah, live & learn to stockpile meds.

Sorry she didn't make it.

thanks for trying to help Tom. & Aquaticfan.

Sorry she didn't make it.. see any blockages not allowing release?
well, I don't know my way around inside a fishes' gut. but I killed her because the QT tank had so much pieces of [what looked like] thin clear intestinal membrane all over the place. That all came out overnight. it had to come out from her, because everything on external surface was normal & intact.
Inside her I saw no intestinal tract. organs didn't seem large or even inflamed. I expected it all to look horrible.
there was swelling around her anus area, but that was visible from outside.
Of course an actual educated eye might've seen more than mine.

have any of you guys ever tried prazi pro for fish. it is a treatment for tapeworms flukeworms and etc. it really does the job just remember to remove the carbon and do a water change every few days for it to work. Like if you have a bloated fish try prazi pro. I assure you that its the best product around for parasites.:naughty::naughty::naughty::naughty:
