Feedback on FW Refugium / WD Sump combo design

I found an acrylic breeder tank with the correct footprint for the project, but it is new and $85. It also is only 12" tall, which I'm not sure is tall enough. 14" or 15" would allow for access, and a taller drip area in the bio media chamber. So I am thinking about posting a WTB add here on MFK to see what people have but may not have posted. I am also debating whether there is any benefit to going with glass versus acrylic.

Any thoughts on glass vs acrylic? I'm thinking I will go with what ever tank has the best dimensions unless anyone has a big pro or con with one or the other.

your building for shape and size not looks, so the best deal that fits your needs is the way to go.

just use the same material for the baffles and partitions.
