Are those all UV's??

OHHHHHH, I understand now. The brown and beige cannisters that look like UV bulb housings actually hold thermometers (as stated in the post) the green you see sticking out of the cannisters are the tops of thermometers. :)

C'mon guys, no one's going to show us thier set ups???

:naughty:I have'nt got anything that is that interesting.

Who cares, post it up! I didn't intend for this to be about my set up, but that's what it's turning out to be. I know there's filtration rigs out there that blow mine away and mine may be bigger/badder than some others.
It's not about that. I think filtration is one of the harder things to get right on a system and a lot of people (including myslef) can learn from this if we had some participation.

I'm starting this thread over with my 75 gal and 2 Emporer HOB filters. :D

Very nice DanH. Those towers are sweet! The trash can wet/dry, while not as pretty is still cool. Would like to know more about your auto water changer.

Keep it going guys!

I've got that filtration/purification system sitting on top of the tank. There is a water line above the tank with a valve on it. It goes through the system and into the tank. The sump overflows and goes around that corner to a drain in the floor. I can leave it on all the time and it's a continuous water change, or just turn it on a few hours a day. During the winter I'll have to have it as a continuous going pretty slowly since it's not on a hot water line. Or I could just run another one.
