Finally a Tile Bottom

I finally after all this time completed the tile bottom on my tank. Was never in a big hurry as the rays didn't mind. I used absolute black granite. The tile has a flat back and fits tight together so should not be any fear of something getting between or under.

very nice. did you just placed it on the tank or silicon?
what kind of background is that?

No doubt that sucks. I need to take it out and replace it. It took me almost a year to put the tile in so who knows how long that tile will stay mis matched:D

Tile is just on the bottom. Tank is acrylic so not much will stick to it. I painted the back ground on the back of the tank.

looks sweet !!!:Dif the tiles are real rock they are not supposed to match hence real rock:ROFL:Iguess it could be a little closer in color but hey the rays are supposed be the center piece right?

looks awesome....

my new acrylic tank is getting so scratched from my female biting the bottom of the tank, i have too been thinking of using the black granite tiles...
