Any updates on your new tank setup on a thread? If you need any assistance please feel free to contact. Look forward in seeing the new system=)
I really appreciated your help in storing the CL-3 for me all those months. We're still not ready to bring the tank home, but are much closer. Plumbing installation has been hanging us up. (Hunting was a higher priority for the plumber than our project) We now have to wait until the plumbing and electrical are done before we seal the floor. After that, the stand and tank will be moved in. I did order a Reeflo Tarpon pump for the CL-3 today. We're also still waiting for the arrival of our 400 gallon sump tank that the Cl-3 will sit above.

We did put in two 3" floor drains which will be on either side of the sump.

My initial thought was was to use the drains for the foam. However, the drains are for water which is going to be dumped outside. We'd have a big mess out there if we dumped the foam through the drains, so we'll have to collect the foam and dispose of it some other way.

Will definitely call you if we need assistance setting up the CL-3. Thanks for all your help.

From my own experience with the unit I have seen them collect different amounts thoughout the year. At times sometimes nothing. Lots of influences when using PS in freshwater as in saltwater. Did you replace it with another PS? I've experienced one pond that feed koi fish with a high fat/oil diet. This in turn made it difficult to get results from a variety of protein skimmers. Thanks for sharing taksan

If we can help in anyway please feel free to contact. I am trying to visit this forum more regulary however email or phone is best form of contact. I look forward in seeing the progress=)
p.s Good call on the foam and drain. You would have a mess on your hands. A collection bag can be placed within a tub to collect the discharge and infact the shorter the foam discharge run the better.
