OH YEH...official weight of largest RTC = 15kg

Hehehehehe it would difficult to beat your 15 kg (33 lbs) monster i think. I'll have to find a way to weigh mines errrr in couple of more years ^^ .... how do you weigh a catfish ... i am not too hot about handling them considering their spines on the fins

umm wen they come on land..they r actually pretty chilled out...they only seemed to struggle a lot in water...so wen he was sedate, i just put him on a weighing scale...minus a few pounds for water and the net...and yeh it was around 15kg!!!

Aha ^^ then during the next water change, i shall try (though still afraid of spines). By the way, when you refill your pond where does the water come from? I use the drinking filter hooked up to a tap to just fill my tank/pond ... takes ages! because of the very small flow (for the particular big tank i don't add any water conditioners but hope that the drinking water filter takes care of any residual chemical traces). If there is a faster way, i would like to learn.

nopez sory man..no faster way...my pond was designed with a water ejector next to it...it takes like 2 days to fill it up nonstop at full blast...the new pond might take a week LOL

i guess the only way wud be to install water pumps which force water out quicker around ure whole house....but makes sure ure pipes can handle the pressure! my house is 2 years old so its pretty sturdy
